In collaborative partnership with other organisations, the TTCF works to create, deliver and enrich events across Tamworth, with a specific goal to improve footfall, community cohesion, participation and accessibility across the town centre.

Past events in which the TTCF worked as a key stakeholder include the historic Offa Procession in March 2024 and the Athelstan 1100 celebrations in July 2024, 2025 and 2026. These events increased footfall to the town centre by over 500% and established an effective framework for future development and exciting, creative possibilities for further integration from local businesses, third party sectors and the Local Authority.

Tamworth Pop-up Art Gallery

 

Following a hugely successful Athelstan 1100 week in July 2026, TTCF members have helped contribute towards the ongoing work of the Tamworth Pop-up Art Gallery. This fantastic initiative, a collaboration between St. Editha's Church and Tamworth Castle, helps the local community to engage with its heritage - and has significantly helped increase footfall to and interest in the town centre.

Funding and other support is ongoing and the Gallery is grateful to TTCF for its encouragement and continued interest.
